Country Naturals Large Breed Entrée is made with high-quality, protein rich chicken meal as the first ingredient, with wholesome brown rice and oats and fresh fruit and vegetables.  Additionally, we supplement Glucosamine and Chondroitin to reduce the likelihood of joint issues in your dog and increase joint comfort and support, which is especially important for large breeds.  As in all our dry foods, the protein in Puppy Entrée is over 70% from animal sources and we use a slow-cook low-temperature process which helps retain the maximum nutritional value from all our ingredients.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Dogs may be fed once or twice a day depending on your preference. Most dogs whose recommended daily ration exceeds two cups should have two feedings of equal amounts at different times of day. Please use this chart as an initial recommendation only. Your dog’s food requirement may vary from the feeding guidelines below due to age, breed, environment, activity level, and body condition. Feed Pregnant Dogs 50% more during last 3 weeks of pregnancy. During Lactation dogs require twice the amount as an adult dog and should be fed 3 or 4 times a day.

If your puppy is 5 months or less feed the recommended total daily amount divided into three small meals a day, once he/she is ready for solid food. From 6 to 12 months, feed the daily amount divided into two meals a day. From 13 to 18 months, feed once a day, except for dogs whose daily ration exceeds two cups: these dogs may be fed twice a day. Please use this chart as an initial recommendation only. Every puppy is different and may have special feeding requirements based on exact size, age, activity levels and body condition.
